Honey Dijon Mustard
Make your biscuits according to the package
Roll your dough out about 1 inch thick
Cut with a circle cookie cutter that is approx. the size of a half dollar
Put on a baking sheet & bake for 15 minutes on 375 or until golden
Get those fluffy biscuits out of the oven and put butter on the top
*Store them in a ziplock bag until you're Game Day ready*
When you're ready to serve, cut the biscuits in half and add a small dollop of Honey Dijon Mustard and a small slice of country ham, enjoy!
7 Layers of Heaven
2 cans of refried beans
1 package of 1/2 the fat cream cheese
1 packet of taco seasoning (3 tablespoons needed)
1 1/2 cups of sour cream
2 cups of guacamole - home made or store bought work!
2 cups of your favorite chunky salsa
1 cup shredded cheese
1 can of sliced olives (or jalapeños, depending on preference)
1/4 cup of chopped cilantro for taste
1 bunch of green onions sliced thin
1/2 lime to squeeze
Sprinkle of salt & pepper=
Layer #1 is one can of refried beans spread across the bottom of the pan you've selected (usually a 9x13 works great)
Next, in a microwaveable bowl, add the block of cream cheese and stir in the second can of refried beans - microwave until cream cheese is soft & mix in a tablespoon of taco seasoning. Stir and microwave for about 20 seconds so everything is smooth and creamy
Spread this bean mixture on top of your base layer for layer #2!
Next, add a thin layer of sour cream over the refried beans mixture for layer #3
Spread guacamole over sour cream for layer #4
Add salsa over guacamole for layer #5 (pro tip: strain your salsa to remove excess liquid so you don't have dripping throughout the layers)
Mix tomatoes, onions, and cilantro finely chopped into a bowl and mix together. Spread this combination over your guacamole for layer #6
Add cheese and olives on top for your final layer - squeeze half a lime & sprinkle a light dusting of taco seasoning and cilantro over top. Enjoy!
