We are The Breeders' Farm.

Founded in 1937 by Leslie Combs II, Spendthrift has a rich history deeply embedded in the thoroughbred breeding industry. Historical names including Nashua, Raise A Native, Affirmed, and Seattle Slew and current household names including Malibu Moon, Into Mischief, and Beholder have passed through our eagle-topped gates. 

 

We have created our Heritage Collection to embody the colorful, industry-shaping history we hold woven into our modern-day forward thinking ideas and programs.
